COVERING SOLUTIONS is based in France, on the Atlantic coast. We are close to Les Sables d’Olonne and the catamarans, sailboats and motor boats yards. We work at the same time and in partnership with the preparation and commissioning companies.

Description of an intervention
The steps of the wrapping

Preparation
The boat must be put out of the water, which provides an opportunity to carry out other interventions that can be performed by one of our many partners. An area of one meter all around must be accessible to allow passage of scaffolding. The area to be covered is carefully cleaned and degreased. If the boat requires polyester repairs, this must be done before our intervention.

The wrapping
The wrapping can be partial or total, but always above the waterline. You can choose from our wide choice of colors and finishes (gloss, matte, satin, metal). We have determined together the exact surfaces to be covered. We start by laying the cutting wires, which will allow a clean and even finish without risking scratching the original surface with a simple cutter. We then apply the film along the length of the boat. Thanks to its conformability, it adapts to all shapes.

Finishing
The film is carefully cut around the various accessories and on the periphery. If necessary, the edges are sealed with a colorless varnish. Areas which require film deformation are heated to 90 ° to freeze the vinyl in place.
Stripes, registration, name and homeport can then be positioned. Your boat can be relaunched the next day.
